On November 6th we have planned an exciting afternoon with 3D reconstructions and virtual reality experiences of historical spaces.

UvA researchers Loes Opgenhaffen and Madelon Simons will present their digital reconstruction of The Paradise (‘t Paradijs) on the Kalverstraat, home of the family of Pompejus Occo, 16th-century banker and humanist.

Director of the Westfries Museum Ad Geerdink will present  their digital reconstruction of the Dutch town of Hoorn as it was in 1650 and their current plan for offering visitors a virtual reality experience. If you want to support this plan, donate here!
